Nanotech has been recognized as the 21st century technology. The petroleum and gas industries are starting to realize the potential of nanotech research to revolutionize their work and desire to capitalize on nanotech’s immense benefits. However, the current lack of communication between nanoresearch communities and the petrol and gas industries risks impeding progress. This conference provides a forum to bring research and industry together to advance the petrol and gas industries through nanotechnology.
